Formally of Oakley landscapes, Ian Oakley has been working in groundworks, landscaping and habitats for decades and brings a wealth of commercial drive & experience to a key division within our business.
Ian joins us as our Contracting Team Leader and will support our Contracting Manager Toby Hall, in driving forward a commercially aware division at the forefront of landscape delivery, habitat creation & management and protected species mitigation. After a lifetime of running his own business, Ian is excited to be working in a fast paced, growing and dynamic company like B&G with all of the support and opportunity that comes from that.
Dylan Oakley joins B&G as a contracting technician. Formally of Oakley Landscapes and with a breadth of experience accrued in landscaping, hard landscaping, and planting. Dylan is used to running small projects and will provide further support to the division including areas of landscaping that are new to our business.
This is a critical juncture for the landscape industry as developers gear up for the implementation of sites with the added pressure of ensuring BNG is delivered and managed correctly. It is crucial that our contracting division has the skills in the correct use of large plant and machinery along with the commercial delivery to support that demand.
