Kylie brings over five years of experience working as a field archaeologist, alongside experience in project management and a master’s degree in Classical Antiquity. During her academic studies, she specialised in funerary culture, while much of her commercial archaeological work has focused on Romano-British settlements.
Kylie was drawn to B&G by the opportunity to combine the best of both worlds: working locally while contributing to projects across the UK. The role allows her to continue doing what she loves in the field, while enjoying life closer to home and developing her expertise within the archaeology sector.
Looking ahead, Kylie is excited to work alongside our Head of Archaeology & Heritage, Tom Hough, and expand her archaeological research skills beyond fieldwork. Over the next 12 months, she hopes to build on her existing experience, work towards her PMQ and gain additional field-based accreditations, including CAT and banksman certifications.
We’re excited to have Kylie on board and look forward to supporting her continued development as she takes the next step in her archaeological career.
