Dan joins us with valuable experience in water vole surveying and mitigation, having previously worked for a specialist in this area. His experience includes trapping and translocating water voles, giving him a strong foundation in protected species work and practical ecological consultancy.
Looking ahead, Dan is keen to broaden his skillset, get involved in a variety of new projects and build connections with others across the ecology sector. He’s particularly looking forward to developing his knowledge, taking on new challenges and continuing to progress his career in ecology.
Dan has some exciting goals for the future, including getting his water vole licence signed off, obtaining a tree climbing ticket and working towards CIEEM membership. He also hopes to begin working towards an additional protected species licence, building on his existing experience with water voles.
We’re delighted to have Dan on board and look forward to supporting his development as he settles into the team and gets stuck into projects across Milton Keynes and beyond.
