Our Consultant Ecologist, Lloyd Wyatt shares his experience from the CPD session.
“Steve shared some valuable insights into the work they’re doing in setting up a series of habitat banks across England—an essential part of the Biodiversity Net Gain strategy. It was fascinating to learn more about how the allocation of offsite biodiversity units works from the perspective of those providing it. This collaboration deepened our understanding of how we, as ecologists, can offer more pragmatic, cost-effective advice to clients while contributing to the protection and enhancement of biodiversity. The session was a fantastic opportunity to learn, share knowledge, and refine the service we provide to our clients. It’s inspiring to see innovation in action and to know that our work is helping to drive sustainability in development projects.”
We’d like to extend our thanks to Steve for taking the time to visit and share his expertise. Sessions like these are invaluable in helping us stay at the forefront of ecological best practices, ensuring that we continue to provide informed, effective solutions for our clients. We look forward to future collaborations and applying these insights to our work.

Set within a landscape steeped in history, the site offers a fascinating glimpse into the area’s past, forming part of what was once a thriving medieval village. The following, written by Tom Hough, Head of Archaeology & Heritage, explores the rich heritage of Wolverton and the historic significance of our new location.
We’re pleased to welcome Stef to Brindle & Green as our new Principal Arboricultural Consultant, further strengthening our growing Arboricultural team.
