We are currently seeking aspiring Landscape Architects and Planners to join our growing team, based at both our offices in Radbourne near Derby and Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant, dynamic and fast paced business which is expanding.

We are on the lookout for individuals who are self-motivated team players, but who are happy to work independently. Our Head Office is located in the Derbyshire countryside, and our new office is situated to the north-east of the town. Manor Farm Court is in the picturesque Ouse Valley Park and immediately adjacent to the Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve. This is a beautiful office location in a listed barn conversion which benefits from plentiful free carparking.

Location: Derby / Milton Keynes (hybrid working considered)
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 (dependent on experience)

Role overview

We are seeking a Landscape Architect to work across all RIBA stages on a wide range of projects, supporting the delivery of high-quality landscape design from early concept through to planning, technical design and construction.

The role will involve contributing to design development, preparation of planning submissions, and production of detailed technical information, working closely with senior colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will assist in shaping landscape-led design solutions that respond to site context, planning policy and client objectives, while maintaining strong technical and environmental standards.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential-led developments, public realm, infrastructure and green infrastructure schemes. The role offers exposure to both creative and technical aspects of landscape architecture, with increasing responsibility as experience grows.

This position is well suited to a motivated Landscape Architect looking to develop their skills, progress towards chartership, and take greater ownership of projects within a supportive and collaborative studio environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparation of concept and detailed landscape designs
  • Production of drawings, visuals and technical information
  • Assisting with LVIA and planning support work
  • Preparation of planting plans, specifications and schedules
  • Coordination with architects, engineers and planners
  • Site visits and construction support

Skills & experience

  • Degree or Masters in Landscape Architecture
  • 2–5 years’ professional experience (flexible)
  • Working knowledge of UK planning and delivery stages
  • AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite essential
  • Progress towards CMLI preferred but not essential
  • Full, clean manual driving license
