Graduate Landscape Architect

Brindle and Green Environmental Consultants are seeking an aspiring landscape architect to join our growing team, based at our offices in Radbourne near Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast paced business which is expanding.

We are on the lookout for an individual that is a self-motivated team player, but who is happy to work independently on occasions.  The role would suit either a newly qualified graduate or a year out student – we will tailor the role to work for the right candidate.  The candidate would either come from a landscape architecture or related environmental background, or someone who would like to convert into landscape architecture.  The office is located in the Derbyshire countryside where a variety of environmental disciplines are based – opportunities to work alongside Ecologists, Arboriculturists, Archaeology and Heritage specialists make for interesting projects and variety in the day-to-day work.

Essential Skills:

• An undergraduate degree
• Team player who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and proactive
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail
• Keen to learn and takes responsibility of own professional growth
• Ability to work to meet deadlines, managing the time available on multiple tasks and projects
• Commitment to work safely, with due regard for health, safety and environmental issues
• Full, clean driving licence

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
• Experience with GIS and / or Keyscape software
