Ecological Mitigation Assistant

We are seeking a suitably driven and motivated Ecological Mitigation Assistant to support the company’s increase in project work, size and complexity.

Working directly for our Technical Ecological Mitigation Lead, you will sit in a critical role between our ecology & contracting divisions, coordinating ECOW support, working on mitigation licences, undertaking site checks and compliance visits and preparing ecological mitigation strategies.

You will have a basic understanding of ecological mitigation and the consultancy sector although training can and will be provided. You will have ideally have some experience of working in the ecological consultancy sector. A full clean manual driving licence is essential for this role and a suitable level of CSCS would be desirable.

Key responsibilities would include;

• Coordinating the Company’s ECOW provision
• Undertaking some ECOW works where required (although this will be controlled)
• Writing ecological mitigation strategies
• Helping to prepare mitigation licences
• Supporting our Contracting Division in delivering on site works in accordance with licences and approved documents
• Managing licence returns
• Supporting on cost generation and evaluation for mitigation projects.
