Having maintained our position in the market well away from rail, infrastructure, highways and utilities, we sit at the forefront of supporting development projects in the residential, commercial, agricultural diversification, renewables, and special projects sectors across a range of scales and complexities.
Location: Derby
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
Role overview
We are offering an excellent opportunity for an Assistant or Year Out Landscape Architect to develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative team, working across design, planning, and technical stages on a wide range of landscape projects.
The role will involve assisting with the preparation of deliverables, as well as supporting the team. The candidate would either come from a landscape architecture or related environmental background, or someone with an undergraduate degree who would like to convert into landscape architecture. You will gain hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery, learning how landscape schemes are developed from initial ideas through to construction on site.
You will be encouraged to build strong design, graphic and technical skills, while developing an understanding of planning processes, environmental considerations, and multidisciplinary coordination. The role offers structured support, mentoring and opportunities to progress towards professional qualification and chartership.
This position is ideal for a motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to grow their career within a practice that values learning, collaboration and high-quality landscape-led design.
